Who Should Attend

Sophisticated end users or programmers, who need a solid foundation in database design, query and processing language, should attend this course. Course work focuses on database design, creation, organization, retrieval, and management.

Certificate Requirement: three courses

A Penn State Great Valley certificate is awarded upon completion of the three required courses. Participants not wishing to take the entire sequence are welcome to take any course that interests them, pending prerequisite knowledge.

Continuing Education Units

Continuing Education Units (CEUs), based on a standard of one unit per 10 hours of classroom contact, are awarded.
