The Engineering Division Lecture Series at Penn State Great Valley continues on Thursday, March 13, with a program titled, "Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Trends and Challenges," presented by Flavio de Rezende, senior information management specialist at IBM.
de Rezende will discuss how the increasing importance of content is driving companies to adopt technologies that enable them to leverage information, and specifically the architectural components behind the IBM enterprise content management portfolio. The program addresses the philosophy behind the development of the components, and how they tie to specific business needs such as compliance and records management. Challenges and alternative solutions related to content storage will also be addressed.
