 This course addresses the day-to-day issues of corporate treasury and credit functions.  Topics include:

  • Short term financial management
  • Working capital tools
  • Decision evaluation
  • Capital structure

The course is part of the Association for Financial Professionals Certified Treasury Professional™ program.  AFP serves more than 14,000 individual members in corporate treasury and financial management.  Participation in this course entitles students to sit for the CTP™ exam necessary to earn the CTPA credential.

Who Should Attend

Professionals seeking a broader knowledge of the corporate treasury management field.  It is especially appropriate for individuals who are

  • preparing for the CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) exam
  • updating their CTP/CCM certification with CTP/CCM recertification credits
  • facing new challenges under Sarbanes-Oxley regulations   
  • current and future practitioners of finance, accounting, or treasury functions

Withdrawals/Refunds

Refunds are not issued after a class begins, or for classes missed as a result of illness, personal emergencies, or any other event beyond the University’s control.  Note: If you do not cancel, and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.

Cancellation

The University may cancel or postpone any course or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.  If a program is canceled or postponed, the University will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other related costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges, assessed by airlines or travel agencies.

Graduate Credit Registration Process

Participants may earn 3 graduate credits for the Certified Treasury Management course.

The following forms must be completed before your registration can be processed.

Return these forms by mail to Penn State Great Valley, Admissions Office, 30 E. Swedesford Road, Malvern, PA  19355, or fax to 610-725-5296 at least 2 weeks before the start of the course.

Tuition

PA residents:  $2208 plus $72 Technology fee.
Non-PA residents:  $3585 plus $51 Technology fee

Tuition may be paid by

  • Check or money order
  • Credit card (MasterCard or Visa)
  • purchase order (made payable to Penn State)
  • A letter of authorization to bill your employer or organization.  Letter must be on company letterhead referencing the student, course title, and fee.  Letter must be signed by person responsible for payment and include the complete billing address.
