The Eastern Technology Council and Penn State Great Valley present the next installment of the "Secrets of Success" Speaker Series on Thursday, October 11, featuring Jo Webber, vice-chairman and CEO of EnergySolutions. "Secrets of Success" examines the methods used by respected leaders of businesses and organizations to achieve success, as well as what they do to make a difference in their workplace, and the world.
Webber joins interviewer Diane Disney, chancellor of Penn State Great Valley, to share her secrets of success. Webber is an experienced software executive who has spent her career providing enterprise software solutions to many of the world’s leading corporations. Houston-based Energy Solutions International is a leading global supplier of oil and gas pipeline management software. Webber is a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry . She earned a Doctorate in Quantum Physics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry from the University of Nottingham Trent in the United Kingdom.
The program, which is held in the Musser Auditorium of the Safeguard Scientifics Building on campus, will begin at 8 a.m. with registration/networking and continental breakfast, followed by the presentation and question and answer session from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
