Internet Registration for Credit Courses

You can register for courses using Penn State's online eLion system. To register, simply follow the steps below.

  1. Review the online schedule of courses for course availability.  Make a note of the 6-digit Schedule Number that identifies the specific section and course you want.  Click here to see a sample schedule number.
  2. You must have an active Access account (i.e., xyz123). Your Access account is issued to you in person at the Computer Center and is maintained by Accounts Services at the Center for Academic Computing at University Park.
  • Go to the eLion Web page.
  • Click on the "Registration and Schedule Adjustment" icon.
  • Log in to eLion using your Access user ID and password.
  • Select the appropriate semester and follow the directions to register.
  • After registration is complete, you can verify your schedule by clicking on the "Schedule" icon and following the instructions to see a copy of your schedule.
