The Penn State Great Valley Education Division seeks presentation proposals for “Classrooms for the Future: Best Practices Institute,” set for Friday, June 6, in the Safeguard Scientifics Building on campus. Educators are asked to submit their proposals for 45-minute presentations, workshops and panels by March 15. The institute, which is set for 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will bring together high school teachers and school administrators who are implementing Classrooms for the Future (CFF) to share what works, and what to avoid. The institute will consist of five tracks: Tips for Administrators; CFF Mathematics; CFF Science; CFF Social Studies; and CFF English/Language Arts. The institute, which costs $145, is Act 48-Approved.
