Penn State Great Valley is offering software engineering and systems engineering graduate programs at The Philadelphia Navy Yard again this fall.
SYSEN 597A: Linear Systems Theory is offered on Tuesdays, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. from September 4 through December 4. This systems engineering elective course examines the representation and characterization of deterministic linear systems. Students should have a working knowledge of matrix and linear algebra, and familiarity with Laplace and Fourier transforms.
SWENG 581: Software Testing will be held on Wednesdays, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. from September 5 through December 12. This elective in software engineering focuses on understanding and implementing successful software testing processes and practices and on the theoretical and practical aspects of software testing throughout the software life cycle.
SYSEN 550: Problem Solving Leadership is set for Thursdays, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. from September 6 through December 13. This course, which can be taken for software engineering or systems engineering credit, focuses on problem-solving as a cognitive process, with particular attention to the creative behavior of individuals.
