This program is designed for professionals holding advanced degrees who design and manage Information Systems (IS). The program emphasizes managing IS services and using IS to solve organizational problems.
Admission requirements:
Applicants must:
- Hold a baccalaureate and an advanced (master's or above) degree from an accredited college or university.
- Meet Post-Masters in M I S prerequisite competencies.
- Submit all necessary forms, documentation, and fees.
Certificate requirements:
The Post-Master's Certificate in Management Information Systems is 12 credits (4 classes). Four of the following courses are required. Students who have not completed a graduate-level organizational behavior course will be required to take MGMT 501 (Behavioral Science in Business) or its equivalent, prior to enrolling in this module. Students who have not completed a graduate-level MIS course must complete BUSAD 537 (Management Information Systems) prior to enrolling in this module.

- xxx 597 - Special Topics in MIS
Management course schedule:
The program offers courses in a 7-week format. Seven-week classes meet 2 evenings a week. Fourteen-week classes meet 1 evening a week. Several classes in the 7-week format are held on Saturdays.
There are six 7-week sessions each academic year. Students may begin at the start of any session.
Management Faculty:
The Management faculty represents a mix of academic scholars and business professionals. The full-time professors all hold doctoral degrees and have professional experience in corporations, non-profits, or as entrepreneurs. Adjunct professors from corporate and entrepreneurial ventures supplement fundamental management theories with current marketplace experience.
Students:
Students in this program generally have a background in finance, health care, human resources, marketing, or production management.
