Who should attend
This certificate is designed for programmers who need a solid foundation in database design, query, and processing language.
Coursework includes database creation, organization, and management presented through instructor-led class projects.
Certificate Requirement: Three Courses
A Penn State Great Valley certificate is awarded upon completion of the three required courses. If you do not need the entire sequence, you're welcome to take any course that interests you

CSE 7025 - Database Design and Modeling Introduction (21 hours of instruction)

CSE 7026 - Structured Query Language (SQL) (21 hours of instruction) - Prerequisite: Database Design and Modeling or instructor approval

CSE 7027 - ORACLE PL/SQL Programming Introduction (21 hours of instruction) - Prerequisite: Structured Query Language (SQL) or instructor approval
