Who should attend

Developers interested in upgrading to an object-orientated programming language used to create a simple application or a distributed environment designed to run on a complex network or Web environment.

Certificate Requirement - 3 Courses

A Penn State Great Valley certificate is awarded upon completion of e three required courses. Participants not wishing to take the entire sequence are welcome to take any course that interest them.

Choose 3 of the following 4 courses

CSE 7013 - Java Programming Level 1 (21 hours of instruction)  Prerequisite:  Experience with programming in a high level language such as C or C++
Next offering - January 2009

CSE 7011 - Java Programming Level 2 (21 hours of instruction) Prerequisite:  Java Programming Level I
Next offering - October 2008

CSE 7012 - Java Programming Level 3 (21 hours of instruction)  Prerequisite:  Java Programming Level 2
Next offering - January 2009

CSE 6985 - JSP (21 hours of instruction)  Prerequisite:  Basic knowledge of Java programming and basic knowledge of XML.  Successful completion of Java II
