Graduate Certificate Program in Workplace Learning and Performance Improvement Design

The Program

This four course certificate program for working professionals enhances the ability to create training, learning, and performance improvement initiatives.  Courses offer skills to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training materials used in corporate, healthcare, and non-profit environments.  You may request a Graduate Certificate after completing the requirements with a minimum 3.0 grade point average.

The Curriculum

  • Systematic Instructional Design:  INSYS 415 - 3 credits
    Training Design and Development.
  • Instructional Systems Analysis:  INSYS 521 - 3 credits
    Needs and Tasks Analysis.
  • Performance Technology: INSYS 551 - 3 credits
    Performance Improvement.
  • Managing and Consulting for Instructional Development:  INSYS 553 - 3 credits
    Project Management

Getting Started

  • Courses are offered year-round in the evenings and on Saturdays.  Classes begin every 7 weeks. 
  • Submit a Graduate Nondegree Application to get started.
