The Diversity Action Council of Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies, in coordination with AMETEK Foundation, Inc. will be hosting an interactive discussion in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. titled, "Improving Organizational Effectiveness: The Value of Creating and Sustaining a Diverse Work Environment," on Wednesday, January 22, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Questions will be answered by Pedro Cortes, Executive Director of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs; Juan Johnson, Vice President of The Coca-Cola Company and President of the Diversity Leadership Academy; and Dr. Levi Wingard, Superintendent of the Downingtown Area School District, as well as panelists with various governmental, business and educational backgrounds.
The event is free and the community is invited to attend. The symposium will take place in the Safeguard Scientifics Building’s Warren V. Musser Auditorium on the campus of Penn State Great Valley, located in the Great Valley Corporate Center at 30 East Swedesford Road, Malvern.
