Penn State Great Valley will offer a continuing professional education course, Certified Treasury Management, on Mondays and Wednesdays, October 24 to December 12, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at its campus in Malvern. The Certified Treasury Management course, which is part of the Association for Financial Professionals Certified Treasury Professional™ (CTP) program, is designed to provide students with a clear understanding of the day-to-day issues encountered by the treasury and credit functions of a corporation.
Among the topics to be covered are: short-term financial management; working capital tools; decision evaluation; and capital structure. Completion of this course enables participants to sit for the CTP™ exam and earn the CTP™ credential, as well as three graduate credits.
