There are a number of citation styles that will let you do that. Many professors at Great Valley use the format developed by the American Psychological Association but others may choose to use Turabian, Chicago or another style.

A site that is especially easy to use is the Duke University Citing Sources web site located at http://library.duke.edu/research/citing/.
