• Job searches can be launched here with keywords such as job category and city and state. Other services include advice and a job seeker recommendation engine. Also found here is an array of information about relocation, insurance and resumes (which can be posted)as well as other search tools

• Boolean searches can be done for jobs while limiting/expanding to multiple states. Limits can be set both for number of results and relevancy. Search tips and suggestions are given as well as links to other site sincluding top government web sites, IRS tax forms and supreme court decisions.

• Yahoo's site can be used to search by a category selection for jobs in a particular area by city and state as well as by keyword. In addition to other career issues there is a special section on diversity in the workplace and features to some job searches and resumes. Results include links to other job-related sites.

• This site connects employers with job seekers. Jobs can be searched in the classifieds according to category and the perimeters of a zip code. Employer directories are provided in the same fashion and resumes can be submitted.

• This resource to the web's best job search resources provides information on both choosing and using a site. Issues such as privacy, relocation and interviewing are explored as well.

• This job search site provides free accounts for posting of resumes and applications and includes a resume builder as well as information on fee based writing of resumes. Also available is career advice on topics such as interviewing and relocating. RSS feeds are provided as well as networking opportunities, scholarships and job fair information.

Bucks County Intermediate Unit

• The human resources section on this site provides for resume submission and job searching with a drop-down menu for position types.

• Users can search the CCIU employment database and learn about substituting and teaching opportunities. Users can download the pennyslvania standard application as well as the CCIU application for employment.

• Registered subscribers can use the career guidance and job listings on the site. Subscribers have access to the entire contents of the web site while non-subscribers can read news and advice columns as well as search for jobs.

• Teachers and other certified personnel must apply through PaReap, using a form which can be obtained on this site and recent openings are listed for them. Information is given for sending letters of interest. Directions are provided for other personnel to apply directly.

• Categories for searching include administrative, staff, executive and faculty in addition to sections for community colleges and part-time and adjunct positions. Searching can also be done by location or institution. Resumes can be saved and emailed and participants can arrange to receive listings via email after an account is created by the user.

• Personnel service provides information on vacancies as well as their employment application, clearance information and links to forms.

• Applications can be posted online here. Job opportunities are listed and career development resources and quick links to other information are readily found.

• The applicant portion provides for postings to all participating districts about which information is provided to the thousands of applicants using the site. District lists can be obtained by geographical location in the state. Also found here is information on how to apply to schools in other states. School districts can conduct customized searches and post vacancies and manage applications electronically.

• Information on teaching in the state includes Act 48 certification, academic standards and many other issues. Forms are available including those on clearances. Names and addresses of all the school districts are provided as well as the standard application. There are services included that are not under commonwealth control.

• Free job searching is available for teachers, administrators and related personnel. Applicants can specify by state and other parameters and post resumes online. School districts are charged for using the services.
